Any Thoughts On These Strains?

Ok Ive been doing some research and these strains seem to be the right ones for me. Now that I have looked into what I need I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on a reliable seedbank as well as any first hand experience on growing them. I am a newb and I still have a lot more to get under my belt so I'm not making any purchases as of yet, just would like everyone's input on this. I know this is a very debatable subject, so I'm not looking for any arguments Please and Thank You . I'm just looking for pure personal first hand experience on them. They most likely will be grown under cfls but I may up it to MH/HID in the distant future. Below is the list I have compiled of mainly Indica / Indica Sativa mix - Indica dominant strains. Also from what I have read so far that these strains are a tad bid easier to grow as well as susceptible to LST and maybe even topping to keep these puppys low . mmmm....yummy check out some Bomb (breeder), Sannies, TGA, Bodhi, DinaFem, G-13, seedsman, Nirvana (there's more) - all have been given good reviews as well

Ak48 is a great strain. indica dominant. 65/35 the plant can take a beating, ill tell ya that much. She grows pretty fast too. Nirvana sells it. They are great to deal with too, my first order got seized and they resent it no problem

I'm running dj shorts blueberry - grew fastest compared to trainwreck and lavender, and is tallest / bushiest.
no mold bugs, seems to just thrive tbh

Im looking for a short to medium height, but if its a taller plant like a sativa i guess i could lst i dont mind using some string just a little time consuming anyways its all good i think ill check them out. Also do you guys / gals run only fem seeds or do you get regs and weed out the males? Ive read that fem seeds have a chance to go all hermie on ya and id hate to get a 5 pack for 30 plus us dollars and get 4 hermies dunno though i could get a 10 pack of reg and end up with 10 males. That is to say if all 5/ 10 even germed. I have what you call buzzard luck lol. What say you fine people of RIU? Thank you
