u want 5x power or better butane ..........do not freeze
pack the tube full ...fill it all the way up (most are designed to hold set number of OZ 1 2 3 4 and u can get some smaller ones made for half and quarters)
fill it full (dry ground up nugs or dry ground up trim ) i weight my out one oz pack the tube
with the tube pack u want to freeze the tube and the weed inside this will do 3 things ......1 makes the glands break off easier....2 if any water is in there it would freeze it and causes it to break up the plant little more.....3 it freeze the material and glass making the butane flow better (it is not expanding as much to cool the area as it passes )
u can try blowing some warm stuff and some cold stuff u will see a different time table in the flow of it out ......cold comes quicker and much darker at the start .....warm comes out about 5 to 7 secs after cold and is a lighter amber color until u are about done the 1st can
as for the baking in the over that is not a smart idea if u have a system to dehydrate it that keeps the temp under 80 f then yes do that to remove all of the water u can but temps above 80f will make THC degrade at a faster rate ............the point of doing the heating thing is to turn THC-A into THC

u will do this during your heat purge time on the mat or what ever u have .........the trick is to get the work done on a controlled temp working at about 180/190 f will give u a hour of work time before the THC degrades from the heat into other chemicals the higher the temp the quicker the change over .....it is a balance of time and heat to get the THC-A to THC with out degrading the THC lvls
