Anyone close to harvest and taste testing?

Getting close to harvest and decided to quick cure a smaller bud I found under my canopy, and holy shit is it good :bigjoint:

I can still taste the nutes (not yet time to starve them), and it wasn't cured yet (obviously) but a lot of the WW flavor I love is already here.

Two pics attached are one of my canopies, and the other is the quick dried bud.

Anyone else out there close to harvest and sampling your product? Join in and bs!

A flush in soil if you will - but for hydroponics (i believe I mistyped there, I'll blame my taste test). The last 3 days or so before harvest I give my girls 100% h2O to allow them to burn through the last of the nitrogen reserves. For me at least, it's always lent itself to a smoother smoke at the end of the day - the nutes leave a harsh bite to the smoke imo

I don't think you can get the nutes out of those buds mate. Once their in there that's it, they ain't coming out with a couple weeks of water. It doesn't even make sense when you really think about it. I don't smoke leaves and from I know thats really where the nitrogen reserves come from. Basically what i'm saying is that flushing is a myth.

Doesn't really matter to me though, its your grow and its your experience and I respect what YOU have experienced and your thoughts. I grow organic so I don't flush. The smoke is so smooth and delicious with organic.

Flushing is a sore subject around here ....just so you know for future reference ...I think everybody at one time or another has had a taste test near harvest time ......when I first started growing my taste tests would lead me to harvest early because I'd get to impatient and a taste would push me over the edge lol ......anyways each to there own as far as flushing and hope you have a good harvest .....

Yeah, I hid the shears well away from my grow room for that very reason lol
