Anyone else a recovering alcoholic?

Hey guys,

I was just sitting here thinking about crazy times I had at the bar and the club drunk out of my mind.

Damn I used to have fun.

At 26 my stomach, liver, and gut had enough. I was taking 22 pills a day of meds for them... that lasted about 6 monthes. Hell yeah, I drank like a fuckin champ.

Anyways, I haven't had a single drink since September 3, 2005.

To anyone out there who is having a hard time quitting, I feel your pain. Good luck.

Good luck in life to all... I got a pretty good future ahead of me with no liquor and lot of pot (now that I'm growing).

I am. Began my journey 06 (or 16) June, 1996. Been a few years and while I look back fondly the good times I had, it ends there. I do not miss the alcohol and after watching my friends of that time of my life slide downhill, I doubt I ever will. Anyway, I still live one day at a time and really like it. Took some getting used to though.

Good 4 u dude, I will admit I drink WAY TOO MUCH. But dammit I an a functional drunk! I get sloshed and write my school papers and get straight A's. I cannot write creatively for shit w/o sum sort of intoxicating substance. . .

where was my weed in my 20,s?would feel a hell of alot lot better at 38 lol i was a drunk till 35 to cool to smoke pot.Weed makes ya slow,smoked a ton in teen years had a blast doin that.Life went ahead and alcohol made me motivatied so i thought.No crying bout it now but i just wished it was like now in my life back then.If i could give any drunk a joint of my nyc diesel i think it would honestly help them see that life can happen on all levels.I guess what im saying if you grow what i call upity weed please share it to show people its not all sitting on the couch and eating.you have a hard time siiting still on some of my strands,not heart racy stuff. grown with love,but as we know just good weed

I don't know how anyone can get hooked on it. if i get drunk like 2 days in a row... i gota take a couple day break considering it makes me feel like shiiiit lol.
