Anyone else having grasshopper problems?

I'm doing my first real guerrilla grow this year and these grasshoppers are starting to tear into my plants. I've been spraying twice a week with neem oil and recently tried a garlic mixture. Got my fingers crossed to see how it works. I've been all organic so far, but I'm dubious about being able to get these plants through to harvest without the grasshoppers getting them first. The clones have been in the ground since the end of may and are about 3-4' tall and 4' wide.
Healthy aside from the grasshoppers. I've also had animals digging at the roots, I think they've been going after the blood meal or chicken litter that I amended the soil with. I piled up logs and stick near the undergrowth and it has kept them from digging anymore. If you guys have recommendations on the grasshoppers let me know. Also looking for a nice organic bloom fertilizer:bigjoint:

dsb in texas has been fighting a war with them heard it is crazy
at least he grows indoors but he said they stripping leaves off everything outdoors

Live and learn. You'll outgrow them hoppers, notice they only eat fan leaves and leave new growth alone? Having hoppers put shotgun holes in the leaves triggers a genetic response called high potency. If their really gettin to ya pickup some Semaspore and watchem all drop dead including the live ones eating their dead.

Move them into a greenhouse, or alternately for a cheaper method you could put a mosquito net (You'd need to build a frame to hold it up) for larger plants or a food safe (I'll post a link) if its a smaller plant over the plant.

That being said, some critters might decide its a good idea to rip through your grasshopper shelter to have a go at your plants, that's why in my opinion a greenhouse would be a better idea.

ANY ONE WANT TO SEE DEAD GRASSHOPPERS...I SPRAY POISONS AND THEY KEEP COMING AND DYING...MY YARD STINKS OF DEAD GRASSHOPPERS AND POISON...

i decided to jus put mine in 4 to 7 gal. containers and close to the house so i can eye them.i spray the side of the container, a circle around perimeter.grasshoppers startin to burn up now theyre almost gone as long as it dont rain anymore.damn fleas is another story.rdr.

i had fleas a few years back.....there a mother to get rid of..

buy or rent one of those choclate fountains and sell choclate covered grasshoppers
but dont mention the poison part might be bad for business

them texas grasshoppers laugh at that simple bug repellent
