Be careful journaling your concentrate endeavors as people frown on the average guy making them without an MIP liscense still...
Its still considered a pretty big deal in fact.

The doc wrote "#48 edibles" on my 'scrip, i think he was expecting me to sign on to the dispensary where he worked that day, but that's just a wild guess.

The danger is in things like purchasing a firearm. Let's say I want to buy a rifle for my kid as a gift. Is the red card database involved in the approval while I am at the counter in the store? (CBI/FBI/ATF does the checking) How about if I have a CCW and know enough to not carry both at the same time? Is the swat team going to kick in the door because I might have both at the same time? The database is confidential for good reason. Law enforcement is disallowed access in order to avoid these mistakes and violations of our rights. The person who stole the confidential data must be prosecuted and the data deleted from wherever it is being stored.

Good points that didn't cross my mind. The nerd in me is very interested in the gun/possession question, though. I don't know that it would be unconstitutional, but it does pit two constitutional rights against one another. Thanks for the train of thought!
