I am in cali and we dont know how to do good sauces here but I do try.

I use ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, a hint of russian mustard, sea salt, garlic and a few other tasty bits...Nothing like the BBQ I have had in Georgia or NC but it was homemade, smoked for hours and falling off the bone.

Ingesting the pp now, she is sweet. The 3rd army is in Leyte and kicking ass.

We were watching Prison Nation earlier. Did you catch the one where the guards are there to simply watch the exits and make sure no one leaves? The inmates are in charge and if the inmate cartel in charge doesn't like you then your out on your ass. Essentialy your homeless living outside in the elements and you don't get to eat. Those guys lucky enough to not be on the outs with the population have to find ways to earn money to buy that nasty rat infested slop they call food. That makes Lockup Holoman look like a nice place to be doesn't it?

WWII in HD. I don't know man. The subject matter is interesting as hell but the HD part is Eh! I've got a 1080p 120Hz 46 inch Sharp in the living room and in our bedroom and I watched part of it in both rooms to make sure it wasn't my tv, and I just wasn't impressed with their High Def claim. I mean it's still 70 year old footage and it still looks grainy and faded. I flip over to NatGeo HD and it looks like it's in 3-D.

Too bad you never had UncleSurf's RipTide,,,,,

So damn good it'll suck yer taste buds off yer tongue,,,,,,,,

It's a California sauce and this one beats Bone Sucking Sauce hands down.

Found it at a Farmers Market in the Valley and I'm almost out. Dayum, need to track it down and stock up on a gallon or two.

Yeah, most of it was shot in 16 or 8mm, technically they both have higher resolution that anything reproducable currently but they didnt do the best telecine job on it.

Sounds interesting. I have had so many pre bottled sauces and been disappointed that I just started making my own. Its a simple thing really but so easy to screw up.

I will have to google it, see if I can find it locally.

I have to hide this stuff when friends come over. 2 quarts walked away this year already and now I'm short.
I don't think this guy has a web site, we don't see him but maybe once every three months at the markets we go to.

Just hoping the friggin bassturd doesn't die before I get some more.

I have found that Kraft Original BBQ sauce is the best for using as a base sauce that you can tweak and add to, to create a truly memorable taste experience. Smoked Pork Shoulder and my somewhat secret sauce is like chocolate and peanut butter. Two tastes that go together like peas and carrots.

The one thing I dont like about the kraft is that I can HELLA taste the liquid smoke they put into it.

Make you rib sauce from scratch there are hundreds of great recipies online that being said I usually use Stubbs original. Its a good show and dont expect hd from 70 yr old WAR footage no matter how many times they scrub it. I flip betrween this and Trama life in ER also good show.

I've been watching it religiously...

had me choking up when that guy expressed his remorse for what he did to that lone German soldier (slicing his throat) cause you could tell to this day it haunts him.
