I picked up a 1 lb bag to try out. It looks like a dry water soluble resin i can melt into my nute water. Anyone try this or their other stuff before? Was reasonably priced if i only have to use a small amount of it.
Ok good to know. Ill just try and keep my water pail stirred up, i dont have a res i do drain to waste and mix on the go. Thanks for input!if that's the same thing i used, it didn't dissolve very well for me. left residue at bottom of res.
i ended up using it on the veggie garden in dirt and they seemed to like it
I found some old NPK Raw fulvic acid the other day, so I bought a bottle of liquid kelp because of all of the controversy over PGRs lately. I'm not sure if it's helping, but I miss my transparent res water.I picked up a 1 lb bag to try out. It looks like a dry water soluble resin i can melt into my nute water. i tried the Ful Power by BioAG and it was like a golden color. expensive to use though : the mix rate was an absurd mL/gallonI found some old NPK Raw fulvic acid the other day, so I bought a bottle of liquid kelp because of all of the controversy over PGRs lately. I used to use the NPK powdered kelp, and it was really pretty when I poured it into the water. It was like a blackhole forming. The liquid kind just instantly turns the water murky and from an artistic perspective I don't care for it.i tried the Ful Power by BioAG and it was like a golden color. expensive to use though : the mix rate was an absurd mL/gallon
that's what i'm trying now. CleanKelp. somebody here told me about it. one nice thing about it is that it has 7 (i think?) species of seaweed while the others i've used are just 1I used to use the NPK powdered kelp, and it was really pretty when I poured it into the water. I bought this stuff. I'm not sure if it's even that good, I was just going with some random person's recommendation. The ml/gallon is also wild. I'll probably explore cheaper powders if I see any worthwhile results.
I'm pretty sure the only seaweed that is a true bioaccumulator is the ascophyllum nodosum or however you spell it, however there are a lot of companies that have been using the other types lately, I'd be interested to hear if it works well.that's what i'm trying now.
