Anyone get their MJ tested? Looking for the top strain.

Hey guys I'm in the MMJ business in CO, and finally we have some decent testing facilities out here. Most of their clients are dispensaries and edible companies, but i was wondering if anyone has had their bud tested personally?

If you have, Id like to know what the strain was and the potency. Please post the copy or link from the testing site so we know your not bullshitting a 35% THC lol

Just wondering- I really want to get this started with MMJ patients, so we can start finding those super strong strains.

LOL, ok I manage and grow for a dispensary, we get ours tested too. I'm looking to the private growers and other dispensaries to post tested strains so we can all benefit. When I get a chance I post some Full Spectrum Reports of our stuff, just dont want ppl thinking im advertising.

I want to try and see what strains from what seedbanks are producing the best stuff...We will all benefit from knowing where to buy the best seeds and what has the THC or CBD/CBN, etc. content u want.

hell, we have 3-4 popping up in denver area, although the DEA is closing a few down as they open...but ya, its only like 30$ to test a sample at the more expensive places, and u send in multiple samples, its usually $25

Guess I am looking for more dispensaries like myself

Well, I can tell you that I personally tested two of my harvests. Nirvana's Ice and Nirvana's AK48.

Nirvana's Ice - 17.8% THC

Nirvana's AK48 - 18.9% THC


Not sure what Nirvana has as their THC rating.. but that's the results I got for those two. Not bad IMO. Pretty damn good actually.. considering most people talk down to both strains. I personally love both of them.. you can't really appreciate a strains true potency.. until you have grown every pheno of each strain. Then, and only then.. will you experience the full potency and enjoyment from each one.

what are these places called that test it? i wana google it to see if there are any in my area but i dont know what to search for...i keep getting results for piss and hair tests...

i wouldnt mind spending 20-30 bucks to get my weed tested. i got some chocolope, nirvana white widow and tga qleaner a few weeks into flower and i would like to get them tested when they're done.

pretty impressive numbers on the ice and ak48...i may have to put them on my list...

Genovations, Full spectrum, and a few others- funny is both have been raided by DEA, and then reopened. lol here is a link in one of our papers.

Basically if you have legal MMJ in your state, there is a chance of a testing facility, otherwise you have to buy online tests which arent cheap

ok, fair enough. I consider "top shelf" to mean 18% of higher. I've seen several strains test about that consistantly, and some on occasion. (all tested by steephil labs)

Consistantly:

Ak47, Strawberry cough, chem 4, jack herer, A-train, e32 trainwreck, dragons breath

occasionally:

OG kush, headband, lemon thai kush, champagne, BB cheese, blue dream, cotton candy, xj13, casey jones

Ive got some Spirit that tested at 24.6%, most strains hit 17-19%, the exceptional ones hit up to 27% - (25.6% -Lechuga de Diablo- is my best) It really varies even in the seeds of the same strain, so find those super moms. I also recommend getting the same seeds from diff banks, you will be amazed at the difference. This is why i am having issues.... I have used some of the "best" coffeshop seed companies, and had worse results than from crossing some "OK" company seeds of the same strain together and beefing them up myself.

My advice is this...

Plant as many seeds of one strain as you can afford, grow both the male and female (separate them obviously) and find the strongest ones, cross those, then cross the new seeds against the other super moms and dads (i.e with 2 male & 2 female from seed -AxB & CxD & AxD & BxC=AB,AD,CB,CD (keep 4new super males & females out of the new bunch with the 1st bunch of super parents-6 total)-Then you cross it to have= ABxC,ABxD,ABxCD,ABxAD,ABxCB,ADxC,ADxB,ADxCB,ADxCD,CBxA,CBxD,CBxCD,CDxA,CDxB...you can keep going with the 3rd gen (ABCxD,CDBxA, etc-and yes-HOW you cross them makes a difference), but you really need a notebook or computer log lmao. You will fill up an area fast, but as you go, you kill off the ones that arent as good. This process takes several harvests to get the strain to where you want it, but you can make a simple strain better than the original...

In a few months, I should have time to put up some awesome diaries and "manuals" on the diff things i learned. Never really cataloged my stuff before(security paranoia). I'm more than legal, just old school.

My new "Lab" will be sweet. Tents for control strains, some new equipment for extractions and mixing & filling:). Finally seeing some return on our investments- so i get to start being a scientist again-not just a farmer...

kp whatup. im buddys with the lab guys and they test for me. high numbers for herbs is around 24 to 25% THC. Only a few strains can get up there. Sour d, a bunch of the og phenos, chemdawg, blue dream, there are more, gotta run, sub'd. peace.

Been to Harborside Oakland several times now and have been monitoring their iphone app (lists menu, pricing, potency) weekly for a few months now to learn about various strains and their potencies, if nothing else just as a general guideleine and to better understand their pricing and what is truly a definition of "top shelf"...

Anyhow, talked to their clone guy extensively at my last visit about SteepHill labs and how they are independent and the various testing methodologies and high CBD meds.. incidentally tried some high cbd meds this time...true blueberry x og kush high CBD med @ 12.4% CBD! Was interesting..less parnoia, and anxiety, but still relaxed and nice feeling..very mellow and kinda cool. :) Thx to the clone guy for the recommendation on that strain.

The highest testing I've seen at Harborside was the latest batches of Super Silver Haze they've had coming in over the last month..I saw some 23.22% SSH strains. Wow, would have liked to have been there to pickup some of that.

will ask. i think the pre 98 og is the fire. something about possibly LV og and others. sorry, there are so many og(s) and I think the good ones are all strong.

i'm trying to get the lab guys to come on here and tell us what's really good.

The Larry OG I've seen testing at Harborside around 17-18% THC, the Tahoe OG I've seen up to 19%. Those are the strongest two I've seen on Harborside's menu as far as OG's go...only reason I keep mentioning Harborside is they are the only place I know that tests everything and posts the results...so its all I have to go by for actual THC testing thats reliable and believable.

Just my $0.02...you can really learn a lot from just browsing the harborside iphone app menu twice/week. They change it every few days and if you look once or twice a week you'll get a good idea of strain potency and test results from doing this over the course of a month or two..
