Idk what happened wthe first post. as you can see i covered the little "on" light. the unit itself seems to put outa little light tho. if the tents pitch black u can cearly see tyhe unit giving off liught. Probable the motor. Anyone got any experience w this being ok or being a problem.. its a small amount of light but clearly visable.

Can you put the dehumidifier in the room outside of the tent?
If the tent is vented into the room it is in, it doesn’t matter if the dehumidifier is in or outside of the tent
 
i can do do that. probsable a good idea for pulling the water res actually. Im putting together my dwc system in the next room. its like im gunna have more stuff outside the tent than in
 
Ha, that is the dehumidifier I just ordered for my own build.

Edit: Unfortunately I can't advise of anything other than outside the tent as I have no experience yet with it.

Is it for a small room? I am curious as well because I ordered the same one yesterday for my small tent in a small room.
 
i got it more for the curing process anyway and ui got so much air moving around iun the 4x4 im not that worried about it.

I am glad to know that, I have a large dehumidifier downstairs in my basement, I think I might switch to that for the room then and return this one.
