NIGHTFUN..... get a brick and string...... tie the string to the plant then set the brick on the ground, put the string underneath, tighten when needed...

If the plant and bag start to tip over..... Tie a piece of string to the very BOTTOM of the stalk, keep it the string tight, and find something to tie it to, opposite side of the brick, voila

you have to be careful because after about a month of vegging the base of the stalk gets really tough and tree-like. After a month the base of the plant gets really tough, and it will snap a lot easier than if you start young. In the pictures I posted above, I started LST at 2 weeks, so the nice 90degree bend would be hard after 3 weeks of vegging due to the strength of the stalk ^^. You can always LST any of the higher branches, just take your time and tighten the ties a little bit every day, or twice daily to get the bend you want over a period of days; to reduce stress.

It's amazing to see lower branches shoot right up and become the biggest cola, while the others play catch up, then you re-tie a new set and watch it go all over...increase your yield quite easily, and its fun!

During my next run I'm going to do a lot of LST. I have mainly cfls and 4ft fluoros at my disposal and I had a problem with stretching last time around.

Im on my first grow atm ktown. Im in a tiny dr60 and growing hawaiian snow, so lst was a must. but i think iv done ok, it really is quite simple and effective, take it easy at first when the plant is young and hasnt really fully developed, but when it gets more mature dont be scared of that bitch.

Heres a few pics of my lst adventures so far...

Im in no way an expert, but any questions just ask il try help out.

{3rd pic is showing the direction of the main stem}

Il have more up to date pics soon.

The twisting in some parts is quite unbelivable.
