I am definitely into it but not in a serious or professional way. I'm kinda the lowly worker who happens to know exactly what is going on with the business. I spend a good many hours a week talking with a colleague who is interested in creating a business so we talk a lot about business plans, models, client bases and all that lot. For me a huge amount of marketing is down to presentation, the amount of times i've seen a company with a great service or product but cock it up ever so slightly in one way or another be it the advertising method or ontent, or the actual packaging of a product. One of my current jobs is in a fairly new company who're massively expanding, but needing to keep all the stock changing to kepe customers happy, but it's all being created by us so we ave to have huge sitdown to discuss the ingredients, seasonality, names, how to sell it, who we can sell it to, the general ins and outs on a nice small scale.
I don't like television advertising and that lot, as well it's all a load of crap with bloody complaints and all that lot. I like Jeremy Clarksons Volkswagon adverts, fuck being appropriate haha. I tend to think that whether it gives off the correct image or not, i think that there are so many adverts that people probably prefere the slightly obscure tsyle, such as a massively revving engine, instead of the same old dull car commerical.
