Anyone used the 2d CFLs?

I've ordered 2 to try for the tops of the plants during flower, and am going to use regular CFL's on the side. Theyre about 8-11$s online for a 39watt bulb, Anyone else have experience with them? I havn't found any daylight ones yet, but from what i've read it seems like theyd be good for the short bushy plants cfls make.

I'm a little worried about the no coiling of the light though, am I just going to end up with some lamp bulbs?

The ones I ordered came with a normal bulb base that you can screw into a regular socket, and the CFL "slides" into the top.

hmmm... interesting... I would put those at the top with some sort of homemade reflector, and with normal CFLs on the sides or additional lighting.
