apartment dweller

I dwell in a small apartment and will have to resort to some kind of self-contained grow box. I see them disguised as file cabinets. Some are about six feet tall, 36 in. wide and approx 2 feet deep. They say they come with the works, CO2, deodorizers, lamps, hydro units etc. Any recommendations on any of these systems? Do they really work? What kind of yield can reasonably be expected?
Thanks

I made just the thing for that. It supports a set of two mid-size plants (about 30" of grow room (minus potting device).

EDIT: I have a whole build on this thing, I just need a moderator to approve it in the Grow-log forum. *nudge*nudge*

Be watchful of the lights needed for each setup. And make sure you have proper venting and temps. Most pre-made growhuts are great because of the venting ports built in.

But if you make your own....you may have to stay with the cfl lights.

The box shown by Jethro is cool for cfls lighting...but if you want more than cfl's that box may not handle the job. Thats not to say that with a few adjustments it couldnt handle the heat from an HPS. Just by the look of it...it'll have to be a cfl grow.
