Aquarium Chiller Question

I am going to buy an aquarium chiller to keep my rez temps down but was thinking, if the water that is going through the chiller has nutes in it isn't there going to be nute build up on the inside of the chiller like it normally builds up on the inside of pumps and piping/tubing?

that would be why you would want to run clearex weekly...just run clearex for 20 minutes before every rez change....you wont see or worry about any salt build up...chillers work great...if you cant get a handle on your room tempatures then a chiller is a good way to go

How does running clearex every week affect your ppm schedule with the nutes? Do you run lower ppms?

the clearex gets rid of any build up and if you do it weekly you shouldnt have any build up...

Nevermind, didn't know you could run clearex with your weekly feeding schedule. Thanks again for the help.
