Are my seeds still OK?

I've put seeds to germinate with paper towel method in tupperware
and I've put it on my heater that was over 40 C (108 F) just for half an hour
and it was really damp and hot inside when I opened tupperware,
I've let it air out to get fresh air,put few drops of fresh distilled water and now it is on 26 C (78 F)
by your opinion are my seeds OK?
could have that 30 min destroy them?

don't put them on a heater... wrap them in wet toilet paper.. put in plastic bag not sealed and stick in dark closet. unless they are dreid and cracked they should be okay

Heater is there for my room temp is below 15 c (60 F),they are in wet paper-towels in tupperware so they are sealed and in dark place
I've taken a look at em right now and they look healthy black not dried so they should be ok I guess

If you're having trouble keeping the temperature steady then I would just leave them away from the heater, I don't think the heater is completely necessary.

Germination rates increase when ambient temperatures are 80-90 F. Seed heating pads work awesome.

How about just planting the things? The paper towel crap is just that - unnecessary crap.

a good place to put seeds to germinate is on a cable box or on top of your computer where the case is slightly warm (in tupperware and paper towel) but i have found seedling heating mat is a good investment. also if you have a hood in your grow room on top of that is also a good place, you want them to be warm, not sure about 108f though. only time will tell if you destroyed them, couple days in the paper toewl you should see some tap roots.

yeah i have tried paper towel, never liked having to handle the freshly sprouted seeds, now they go into the soil in the humidity dome with a seedling heating mat and works just great, had one failure out of last 10 beans i popped and that was my own fault.

if you dont have the humidity dome or seedling heating mat a piece of plastic wrap over the top of the solo cup or whatever your using and set on top of a warm place like i mentioned above works just the same
