I was doing some reading and came across a thread, there was a pic of the persons thermometer. It was at 83.5, people were responding " watch your temps they are a little high". My room runs at about 83-84 degrees. Are my temps. to high? Im used to
growing outside, in the summer it gets to be alot hotter than that, so it never occured to me that my room may be getting to warm.

Nah........
My temps go from 60 with lights off, to sometimes 80-85 with lights on.
Nice thing about when the temp comes up, especially after I water, the RH comes up some too.

83 isnt your "ideal" temp but its not going to hurt anything. people on these boards think that everything HAS to be "ideal" but the fact is theres alot of fluxuations that can take place and still have things grow just fine.

I think perfection is too often sought out on these forums too, and I think many noobs struggle because of this. Ideal conditions only help those who know what they are doing maximize their yields, most new growers should concentrate on just finishing without killing their crop before moving on to the perfect setup.

Thanks to all of you for responding. Bringing my temp down is something that would be pretty easy for me to do, Just a matter of running a flexible duct from the fan the cools the room and running it to my tent, maybe a fan speed controller. What would be a better temp? Im not looking to make everything, nor do I expect everything to be perfect on my 2nd indoor run. If I can get the basic stuff where it needs to be it may prevent disasters in the future for me. Just a thought.

I run my lights at night, because then I don't have to run a heater.
Then, I just run fan only during the day.

I think your doing fine with 83-84... Just make sure you have a fan in there to circulate the air nicely.
