I currently have 30 plants in a 4x8 homemade box with 2 1000w mh bulbs. 12 of them are feminized big buddha cheese, and 18 of them are mr nice critical mass and they were not feminized so at a 50% female ratio, I should end up with approx 21 plants growing in the 4x8 area. I was wondering if I add twenty 40 watt cfl lights @ 2600 lumens to my under growth, if it would considerably add to my yield? or maybe just add another 1000w or something? all input is greatly appreciated, thanks.
by the way ive been vegging for 6 weeks so far, the tallest of them is about 17-18 inches tall. i started the cheese about 2 weeks after the CM though so they are a little smaller. havent started flowering yet because i was thinking of getting this supplemental lighting before i make the switch to 12/12. room temp stays at about 76, i use foxfarm ocean forest soil, foxfarm nutes. 3 gal pots filled about half way up then folded down, should i also transplant to 3 gals that are full?
