Are there ph meters that can be stored dry without the need of any liquid

Ive read there are different kinds of ph probes in meters. Are there affordable ph meters for hydroponics not needing to store them in liquid to prevent probe from stoping to work.

What about the best kind of meter, i mean:
Pocket meter, or bigger cotinuous one that can either be moved or put fixed with screws on a water tank.

No, there aren't pH probes that you can let dry out. A probe has a glass vessel filled with reference solution.. It has a reference junction where some of what your measuring is compared to the juice on the inside of the probe.. If you let the probe dry once, you are likely fucked.
I run these:

with these probes:

The unit also measures the temperature of your nutrient solution. It runs 24/7 and has a 10ft wire on the probe. Nutrient temp is very imprtant, as is pH. Using industrial controls means you never fuck up. These units can control pumps to dose out pH up and down.
The probes are BADASS with two reference junctions, a flat glass electrode, and they are big and sturdy...

I pick up the controllers on ebay for $50-$100 and they sell new for $400 still..

There are, but not really affordable. The one we use at work can be stored dry, no glass probe, uses rare metals instead. It also cost $750.

There are also refillable probes that you could let dry out and replace the fluid and junctions....

It is funny that the probe I linked to above is considered disposable and inexpensive in the world of industrial controls.. $140 probe is cheap.. and it is true compared to the $750 probes you mention.

For weed purposes, tho, a good probe with ATC (thermometer) and two reference junctions will last and last..
