Are these nodes/buds too far apart?

So this is my first time flowering in soil with LED.. And I can't help but feel like my buds seem to be a bit too far apart. And perhaps like there aren't enough leaves. I'm at about 3 weeks into flower now.. But I'm just wondering if this looks wrong to you. Ive kept the lights within 10 inches or less so I feel like there's plenty of light getting to them. Maybe I'm just paranoid idk. Any feedback would be appreciated. image.jpeg image.jpeg

That's some pretty big node spacing, bigger than I've ever had! picturing it unstretched it looks like it has the right amount of leaves.

You said this is your first grow in soil/led combo, does that mean you've grow before?

What light is it? model number? diy?

Yeah Ive grown hydro before (and currently in a different area), but this is my first time using soil or LED. Theyre MarsHydro 300's. I have 2 over the plant right now, roughly 6 inches above the top buds. The buds seem healthy I guess.. I mean theres good trichs for how early it is. And they look normal. Theyre just so far apart. I'm curious if this will have an effect later during flowering. Also the plant is LST'd if that makes a difference. I usually top them, this is my first time doing LST instead.

Edit: This is my first time growing a FEMALE in soil + LED. My last one I did was a male so I tossed it. I never got a chance to see how it stretched before I saw the sex and discarded it.

Depends on the strain and phenotype as well as environment. You could probably try putting your light closer

you could use a spray with cytokinins, they're derived from cold water kelp, promotes short internodal spacing and branching.
vegamatrix has a product as part of their line, called hard n quick that i like, but a lot of companies make stuff with it.
i've used it to stop a stretchy plant and liked the results, pretty much stopped the stretch and gave me a load more budsites

I agree with the guys above strain pheno environment are important haven't had any experience with led so don't know the height you should have...
When did you started applying flower feeding schedule?
If you start with that right after the flip they can stretch a little more also was my experience...

Your lighting is WAY too weak. Sorry, but it is. They're stretching like hell to get to the light and that's screwing everything up.

I just finished my end of year White Widow grow and pal, I had more nodes on one stalk than you have in that entire grow.

Here you go, bud. This all came off of ONE White Widow under a 600 watt MH / HPS. These are 32 oz. mason jars.

(The darker buds with the blue tape I took at week 8 flower to get a head start on curing. The rest I took at week 10, hence the color difference between the two.)

I feel like 2x300 watt LEDS should be plenty for an area roughly 2 ftx2 ft.. Assuming actual draw is 140 each.. that's 280 watts.. or 70 watts per square foot. And theyre only about 6-8 inches above the tops right now. So you guys are saying they should be closer? You don't think that might be a bit too close for them? I mean I really don't want to burn them this far into flowering. But if that the majority vote, I trust you guys. Temp right now is being measured at the tops and its showing about 75 degrees.

Also as a side note.. I saw some curled tips today that seem to suggest Nitrogen Toxicity. Which I was somewhat wondering already due to the darkness of the leaves. I "flushed" the soil today, in the sense I had a little bit of nutes, but no Nitrogen.. And was going to see if maybe that would help the NT. Not sure if that would have played any effect into nute spacing, but figured its info so might as well put it out there.

Maybe it is a combination of both man like I said I don't know much of those leds lol but that can also be one of that problems you have.
Keep a close eye on the tips of your leaves if they curl down looking like a claw that is toxicity if that's the case only plain water will help ease it down a little don't know if you correct your ph but that is better for flushing out the nutes...

Yeah I've got my tv in here now so I can keep an eye on them for a bit. And yeah I've been checking ph. Keeping it between 6-6.5. Hopefully the flush will help. Also I have the lights down to about 3-4 inches away now so I'll see what happens. On a brighter side.. Trichs are looking crazy good right now for how early it is. Leaves looking frosty. I'll try to update with pics in a week or so and see how they're doing.

Sorry Im so late. Good news is the plants looking healthy. Had a bit too much nitrogen there for a minute but I got it adjusted. Buds are looking super frosty and swelling up nice. Still growing. Been dropping the temps at night here recently because I wanted to get the buds purple, simply bc people seem to enjoy the aesthetics of Purple weed around here. Anyway.. Here's some pictures. Sorry the quality isn't great but my camera is shite. You get the idea though.

Those pics on the bottom are the same plant that was stretching like crazy? I'm having that same problem. My plant went into flower recently and stretched like crazy. What was your yield on that on?

I'll bite, lower your lights, increase light intensity on the plants. Make sure your light quality is high and not some blurple or cfl you will struggle with yield otherwise.
Check your spectrum lower k overall tend to stretch aswell
