Just make sure you dont overwater them I've done that a time or 2 and mess them up and keep light prefect height where they will not stretch much and you good to go

I finally made it into flowering a plant for first time now its get fun to watch it's crazy I've seen lots of my seedlings die or something killed them and made it past seedling stage and had to trash them because of reasonings but finally have plant in flowering now I love it

Well when I was useing my 600watt led grow light before I got my 900 wat the one I was useing said for seedlings keep at 32 inches best thing is look at the book you got with it and see what its says

I got my set up from a mate... wat do you recommend?

Why didn't you fill the cups?
He can let them stretch some and then fill them up if wanted too but I do agree with you I mess up some seedlings that I didn't fill up most of the way when I went to transplant them to bigger pots it was harder to get them out

If you can take a pic of the light if its led grow light I say 32 inches is good for seedling if its a hps light I dont know I've never use outside of led lights I'm still newbie myself

There you go

plants are going to stretch significantly under an HPS light like that. If you can i'd recommend buying at least a T5 bulb hood which you can hang close to them throughout the grow. Or invest a little more and get a solid LED hood that can handle veg/flower. I'm no expert at HPS lighting, maybe some have grown with it from seed to flower, but they're intended for flowering stage.
