I've looked at a lot of pictures. Are these what I should be watching and is there any indication of sex yet?

It's hard to see but it just looks like the stipules to me. No signs of sex yet.

too early, look around the top, wait a week or 2. Gotta see white hairs on females to know, there is nothing like them on male plants.

No sign of sex yet but theres a big red bug crawling on it, fix that before it gets out of hand.

It's not like the pollen sacs pop out overnight and blast the girls with goodness.

Like has been said it's too early. Once you can definitely determine sex you still got a good week to deal with the male problem.
