Are they Ready

Do you think these are ready to transplant or give it another week or so right now there in 1 galllons

I'd wait. Transplant is risky when the pot isnt FULL of roots.
I'd wait too, until they are drinking their water every day or every other day. Wondering why you would say that though, imo as long as the soil is a bit wet then the whole thing won't fall apart. And it's better to transplant before the roots start circling a lot.

I haven't done this with pot, but I do it with vegetables in seed trays, is just popping the root ball out to look at it and see if it needs to be up potted, doesn't seem to hurt anything.

Im real new to transplanting and even being super careful, transplanting before there were roots holding everything together, everything fell apart. They recovered but it definitely didnt do them any good. Unless you packed your dirt hard as a brick, theres a good chance it will fall apart. You are comparing a 1 gallon pot to a seed tray.
