maybe I'm sounding like a dork here...but i don't think the renaming thing is cool. first off, genetically, just because you cross two plants doesn't mean you get a mixed phenotype in the first seed harvest. you might actually get one of the parent's pheno's with a bunch of genes that are going to show up in the next generation.
I think growers should take some responsibility in that. I also don't like that everything is bubblelicious hazy gum bubbleberry...
I think the strains and the effort put into their cultivation deserve more respect. We should be talking about indica/sativa pheno's as in:
I'm growing bagseed which seems to have an indica dominant phenotype, copious resin production and fruity aroma much like bubblegum.
to me that is a lot more info than "bubble kushberry boombastic"
ahaha...not that i wouldn't smoke that happily.
renaming shouldn't happen unless the genetics are stable IMO
