Are young buds smokeable?

Do to extenuating circumstances I had to trash a grow I was doing. It was about 3 weeks into flower. I clipped off all the buds and am drying them. They were only about 1" circumference when I cut them, but there was a ton of them. I ended up with a mason jar full of them. Basically I just want to know if they will be worth smoking or if there is no THC in the early flower and such. It smells awesome and I wish to God I could have finished the grow. :'(

Make hash or butter

Or smoke it if your too lazy. Just make sure it's dry
Your going to be getting a crazy head high that's for-sure.
