Arms Rooting? Good or Bad?

When I transplanted I planted kind of deep and the arms were below ground. I noticed the plant was doing excellent and then noticed this on the stalk. The arm on the left seems to be bulging up a bit. I assume it is a good thing. The skinniest branch has since fattened up a bit more as well. I'm still learning a bit. But I think this is kind of cool.

You will notice a dark ring around the base of the stem if rot sets in. Normally you would plant it into the ground up to the first knuckle but mj is a very hearty plant and will survive through a lot of things. If the leaves comming off that branch look healthy, then I wouldn't worry.

Plants that volunteer HEALTHY roots from branches planted under the surface, is a happy plant. This is a practice that was purposely done at one time in out- door grows. WE used to spray the lower branches with dilluted rooting compound, a day or two before transplanting into the patches. With an outdoor grow this makes a really nice root base that protects aginst erosion and wind keeps the plants from falling over when they get ladden with heavy bud. Also makeing stick for propping up plants a little less needed. more out of place shit when gorrilla farming is a bad thing, ie sticks, and other man made shit! So this is not a bad thing my freind! Stem looks very healthy whats the rest of it look like?
