People knew he used them before his friends ratted him out, and I've lost what respect I had for Nike after they dropped him. They cover the story up because he was making them millions, and now that his reputation is tarnished...they drop him so they don't look like they support what they were the day before? I guess re-engaging with a guy that served jail time for dog-fighting tells you their main motive.
He has all the money he'll ever need...but there's a good chance he's going to be losing some of it. There's millions that he was paid and now that his contracts/agreements have ended...he's gotta repay that, and possible other allegations from some endorsements.
But what sport doesn't have people juicing? People are acting like this guy had a major unfair advantage...cyclists really never had a clear-cut winner that wasn't taking gear until...Armstrong.
