I think this is wrong! Just because there kids are fat does not by any means there bad parents. There logic is so totally fucked up it's sickening. Taking the kid away from the parents and putting them in state care does nothing. Sure the kid's gonna lose weight they barely feed you in state care! It's prison menus which is shitty food with just enough to keep you alive. Taking a kid away from loving parents and locking the parents up is wrong. I added a poll to this thread and please answer honestly to it.

Um, is there some instance of this actually happening that you can refer me to?
I seen it on the show the doctors today. I also have heard random stories of it. CPS wants to make it so it will be a felony and recoginzed as the same way if they werent being fed.

fuck that! have you seen the shows with fat 3 yr olds? the parents all like, 'oh he eats healthy, he just a big boy'. that shit is fucking disgusting. parents are responsible for raising thier children. that means physically and mentally. obese children are fucking depressing. how are you gonna let you child have that kind of start at life?

Fuck CPS if they think they have the right to step into someones life is absolute BS.

Different scenarios call for Different action though.

Say for instance " Get off that ladder or you'll bust your ass"
" I said NO, one more time Im going to whoop you ass"

Does not mean you have the right to Stick your fat chops and say

" No no you do not talk to your kids that way"

Ok that was actually said.
I told her to "Mind you own Goddamn Business"
who the fuck do you think you are and to go fuck your self!

This fat fucking biatch tried to say I.m going to get your licience number I work with CPS, and I could have your kids taken from you for being a unfit parent.

I have never been so close to crushing a human head underneath my Fucking brain stomping Boots.

I told that fat fuck " you follow me in the parking lot and I promise you will regret it"

She walked back in the store to tell me she was calling the cops.

FOR WHAT !!!!

I bolted.

But I can tell you That was one day I felt I could actually kill another worthless human being.

They need to go help Methadone Babies and Meth patients.
Go pass out some fucking Food stamps fucking worthless Gov'ment cheese pandering mutherfuckers.

if the child is fat and the parents do nothing but keep feeding him, i consider it negligence. if the parent atleast tries to put the kid on a diet and workout a little, than i dont think this should ever happen. im not gonna vote because im torn

I agree with you Kaleo. If the kid is morbidly obese and needs to lose weight for their health, then it's the parent who needs to make sure the kid eats right and exercises. Now, you can't always control what your kid eats - but if you're feeding them healthy food and making sure they exercise then there is no reason why they can't attain a healthier weight (even if they are sneaking snacks at school, friends houses, etc). This is assuming the cause of the obesity is overeating and a sedentary lifestyle and not some other medical condition.

If you starve your children, that's considered neglect. I don't see why stuffing your children to the point they are in serious danger, health-wise, should be any different. The main responsibility of a parent is to protect your children from danger. These days, the food we eat is dangerous, and parents should put quality of food over convenience in order to keep their child safe.

I'm sure everyone has witnessed at least one clueless mother in their life, brainlessly offering their INFANT child a baby bottle full of soda. It's people like these who need a serious intervention and some strict guidance to clean their acts up. If all else fails and the child is still in danger, then you lose your right to parent that child.

Nothing that causes harm to a child should be tolerated.

If you have a fat kid or a fat animal you need to look at yourself. It is not good or healthy - you are setting your kid up for a slew of health, social, and behavioral problems.

The State owns your children, thats why they decide who your child gets raised by.
The state also owns your body, your house, your labor, your childrens labor, your grandchildrens labor etc.

People that advocate for more statist programs (like "free" healthcare) be careful what you wish for. Once drunk on power over another there is no end to all of the "for your own good" programs a bloated gvernment can come up with.

Okay, I'll bite. Why stop with policing other people's kids then? What about fat adults? Stupid adults? Ugly people?
People with bad breath? People that YOU don't like? Think of all the jobs you could create!!

Let's say your old lady is getting a little wide in the hips and you tell her, listen bitch drop a few pounds or the fat police are going to get a call. Hey that will fix her right?!! (SARCASM)

People that try to run other people's lives are the cause of most of the problems in the world.

I expect to be hearing more of dead cops and CPS if this law is enforced.
at the hands of who?!? fatty weeble wobble parents? letting your children smoke is illegal, letting them drink alchohol is illegal....both because its incredibly bad for thier developing bodies, because thier use is setting them up for hardship later in life. but by all means, crack open another bag of Frito's Earl.

i love my daughter and want her to have the healthiest, happiest life possible. fuck fat kids, fuck fat kids parents. anyone with a problem with that can eat a fat babys dick.

Obese is considered 30 lbs and up. That means that if someone is 30lbs overweight they can be taken away. 30lbs can still be baby fat to a 10 year old. I knew a couple kids growing up that when they hit there teens they became skinny so should they still be taken away?
