Lol my neighbor always bugs when he sees the frosty trichomes so i have to snip a nug off, dry it best i can and let him toke up. It's a nice feeling to have medicine growing on a branch for me to pluck at any time, and share it. It's not a real high, but hey makes someone happy. I try to explain about ambering and all that but he dont care, just wants to burn and be involved

Im just anxious because my last 2 grows i had a mistery problem and both grows didnt get me high , 2 growns of 4 plants to garbage directly ( riu opinions was that the breeder by mistake sent me cbd strain ) , also i dont smoke for 6 months , sincce covid were i live hash now costs 4x/5x more and quality is bad , doenst even make me high
i really need to know that this hard work this time is gonna pay off :/ , also my anti depressants dont work so much on me , weed is what makes me feel good , im currently at day 1 of week 6 , maybe in 2 weeks i can try it ?

It won't be the same as the end product. At the end of the day, it's yours, try it if you want to for some peace of mind and to help with a bit of impatience and anxiety. It will deplete the final harvest, depending how much you take weekly. Maybe you never do it again and maybe it's something you continue to do. Keep an eye on what you are seeing with the plants if you do however. That way you can watch the changes in the pistils/calyxes/trichomes while testing how the effects change too.

My personal thoughts are to leave the testing to the lab. I won’t lie, I’ve done it myself, and regretted it every time. I have not cut testers for a long time now. It will not be good if too soon and if it tastes good it still won’t have very much kick. Once your trichomes turn cloudy, that’s when you might want to test it. Anything before that is futile. You will not get a single clue as to rather it’s potent or not. I’m speaking from my experience. In no way am I saying you can’t do what you want.
