I gave my white widows 24-48 hours of darkness right before I chopped. Not sure if it made a difference in resin production or not but they were STICKY!What's with the Attitudes White Widow descriptions? They all say to put the plant in total darkness for the last two weeks or not more than 8 hrs of light. Has anyone ever heard of this working? I checked the breeders site Nirvana, Greenhouse and Seedsmans but they don't say to do this. I have Seedsmans White Widow in flower now at 7 weeks, should I put them into total darkness or what? Thanks for any help you can give me.
You won't get seeds people. You might get pollen sacs (hermies) but you won't get seeds. Even if balls sprouted during the last 2 weeks there isn't enough time for the plant to make seeds. Also you don't want to use seeds from a self pollinated hermie. You will be at greater risk for hermies with seeds from a self pollinated hermie.
ya I just mean like later in flowering maybe if they got pollenated right before the switch it would suck. anwyays that stuff happens just happened to my buddy he had seeds everywhere and doesn't know which one hermed.You won't get seeds people. The plant would have to herm before fucking with the lights in the last week or 2. It will stress the plants and could cause them to sprout balls but there isn't enough time for the plants to produce seeds in 1-2 weeks. I've had a couple of hermies in my day.
