Attn: Dwc bubble heads

Hey guys I never did use any h2o2 in my grow but now at two weeks in flower my roots are brown, I would like to clean them up a bit. I've been reading up on H2O2 26% and was wondering how much to use and how often, there are instuctions but i would like to see what you guys say. And I want to add molasses soon, I don't know why i have to run such a high ppm, I'm way over the recommended number, could this be from the roots rotting and brown and they just can't soak it up?

You sure you have root problems? I have seen nutes that turn the roots brown.

Well you might be right... Im using gh nutes and they are a little brown
I think my growth is slowing down and did have some slimy roots a while back, cleaned and all that,looks ok now for slime
My ppm is 1850 or so and i should be at 1440 but then i see problem and difficences so i have to raise right?

I remember when I used Fox Farm Big Bloom for the first time, it turned my roots all brown, but later found out it was normal for this product. I always wash my roots in ph'ed water when I change out the res. Sounds a bit high on the ppm. Keep the light about a foot away and you should be fine. If you have an oscillating fan, you can probably drop the light lower. Put your hand near the top of your plant. If the light feels too warm on the back of your hand, Then it means its too warm for your plant...In that case raise it etc..

Organic nutes will stain the roots brown but won't make a slime form on the roots, usually just on the inside of the rez
If there is slime on your roots and you aren't using organic nutrients I would add some h2o2 to your nute mix

OK the plant look great but the roots smell and are brown I have a lot of bubbles, I'll just keep putting in the H2O2 in every week. I heard that if you us h2o2 that is a free radical and you need to use some soap to stop them ( surfactant) but dosent that defeat the porpoise of the h2o2? Do you use soap?

I have never heard of using soap with h2o2
I have heard of using soap with neem oil but that is an organic fungicide/ pesticide
Not something you would be adding to your rez
If the roots smell bad than you more than likely have root rot

I just looked at your grow and your root are nice and white... thats what i'm saying my root are not white and i would really like them to be white...can i use more h2o2 than recomended or not? or what should i do?
