I just saw the adds for this last night and was wondering the same thing. However the real question is does it actually work if it works then it would probably be a good idea for those people out there like me that for get to water plants. But i ahve been really good with my baby girls.

yea i saw it last night to and i just thought about it it would be a good idea to put it in ur plants when u leave for a couple of days or something but i wanna know how it tells when ur plant needs water or not need water.

according to the add when the dirt drys out it lets air in the dirt which then travels up the stem that you have placed inthe dirt. as the air travels up the water comes out kind of like a bottle of water full of water that you turn up side down the air bubbles allow the water to come out of the bottle.
if that makes any since to you.
