STREET LAMPS! New LP Aurora fumbles on day 1. They forced Roll it up to delete thread containing photos of embarrassing set up followed by criticism. Transparency is definetly not this company's philosophy. Imagine how bad their plants are fed. The criticism was about of having street lamps. They have installed the absolute cheapest HPS and MH lights available which are not even to code. Made in China with fake certification stickers. These ballasts are attached to the lights which is a heat nightmare. The lamps are also contained in a tiny streetlamp hood with glass blocking light and not air cooled. That explains why the lamps are hanging extremely far away from where the plants would be. Clearly not one single person at Aurora knows anything about growing Cannabis indoors, or they would have spoken up to prevent this from destroying any faith in the company's competencies. Incompetent yes. Lumens per square foot are less than a sunny winter day. No experience growing any plants is obvious. Trying to hide this by forcing a forum to delete photos is confirmation of this pathetic excuse of a cannabis producer. They are fast at spending 10+ million dollars without knowing how to grow. What a money pit. What a shame. This takes the cake as the worst LP to date. STREET LAMPS and cover up.man-afraid-of-his-shadow.jpg

lighting

they are" non csa approved hoods" with street lamp hps/hid and a not new lighting format ??

is the pharmacopia used by HC for dried cannabis adapted from the one for herbal extracts
in which the dried % is much much lower like 2% or less compared to closer to 10% with cannabis

The lights are cheap street lamps. A sparky told me that the China ones are not CSA approved. They are imported. After spending 10 million plus those guys should have ended up with decent lights at least. Someone messed up big time and there appears to be no management with the ability to spot that.

Great point about the dried herbs compared with cannabis. The LPs packages don't state moisture percentages?

Tweed has a horrible batting average.. Tweed farms has yet to produce anything clean and Tweed has counted chickens before they hatch over and over again indicating many failed batches over and over again. The problems are prior to drying. They refuse to destroy a sick strain and keep growing it over and over again.

If you are trying to discredit I&I.. keep trying.. This is not about I&I. This is about Aurora's shameful excuse for lighting and their threats to rollitup to help conceal the shame from the world. Anyone who fears the truth has many lies. Who the cap fits, let them wear it. Throw the corn, corn no found.. See them Cluck Cluck Cluck.. hey-i-m-sad-cuz-someone-called-me-chicken-cluck-cluck.png

Nah Pete, you do a dam fine job of discrediting yourself...lol.

The Calgary Herald has a black and white photo of Aurora's Lighting. Why black and white? Because they mix HPS and MH lights and think someone wants to copy their amateur techniques. They are STREET LAMPS. And way too hot and high. Again attempting lack of transparency shows who the cap fits. Let them wear it. bob-marley-and-the-wailers-who-the-cap-fit-island.jpg

Your ignorance is painfull, LEP, and DE HPS are not street lamps, those are what the agriculture industry uses. The need to be 3ft ish above the canopy, for cannabis. That is the 1000micromole target zone.

The more you speak the more you reveal that you are the one who broke the NDA non disclosure agreement. Fake rasta.. Wolf in sheep's clothing.. You are the leak you will end up accountable. Keep defending yourself. Aurora will figure out that you are the ignorant one who led them astray and broke NDA. How much did you get paid for your foolish lighting advice? Lettuce is not Cannabis Sativa. You keep speaking moles when you are afraid to state the lumens per square foot. What are the lumens per square foot those hot street lamps are putting at that 3foot height you know so accurately?What-is-a-non-disclosure-agreement.jpg

LUMEN is the measurement of light for the human eye.......

PAR/micromole is the measurement of light energy for or plants.......

Plants use different light then humans do to see. Lumens are irrelevant when talking about growing plants, Educate your self.

Not defending yourself indicates guilt. You leaked the photos.. Provide the link if you say they were online? You are linked with Aurora and broke the NDA. Now what are the lumens per square foot of those street lamps? Link the photolettuce1.jpg and we can all do the simple calculation. Talking about I&I does not make you sound intelligent. Ballasts attached to lamps is very wrong no matter what units you choose to measure with. Ballasts are hot and must be kept far away from plants. Lights should never be three feet away from top of plants. You need to hire someone who knows cannabis sativa not lettuce growing.

Your nucking fut's. This is my last attempt to communicate with you Pete.

"Not defending your self admits guilt"

That's ridiculous, your accusations are ludicris, and unfounded.

"Now what are the lumen per square foot of those street lamps"

Lumen are irrelevant in growing plants, however cannabis is a high light plant and can tolerate 1000micomole, lettuce is around 300micromole. Those street lights produce 2100 micromoles at 1ft from the fixture, at 3ft it's 1000micromole. Perfect for cannabis, and away from the heat of the bulb and ballast. Which if you knew anything about new digital technology ballasts they run virtually with no heat. They are attached directly to the shade and bulb to eliminate RF (radio frequency) interference. Ever tried to use a phone or tablet in a room with 50 lights? Try in a facility with 500 lights or 1000 lights. Every one of those cables from the ballast to the bulb acts like an antenna. Even your tinfoil hat and sunglasses wouldn't protect you.

General rule of thumb Pete, 50 watts per square foot up to 100 watts per square foot was the old way of thinking. Now science is contributing to growing cannabis indoors.

Par and micromoles is the science behind lighting, to grow plants. A lumen is how well a human can see in a wharehouse, nothing to do with growing. Educate yourself, Pete. Or this will be my last lesson.
