Auto flower question.

Hey everyone, my auto flowers started to flower. I ended up top dressing before flowering and I’m wondering if my yellow tips of the leaves maybe the soil was a little hot. Also I’m using a newer grow led light and not using a lux meter yet so I’m unsure of how many lux it’s getting also could be the issue.

What's the wattage of the light your using?? Height from the canopy, (top of the plants)???

Specs of the light I would say originally yesterday about 24-27 inches above the top of the plant to about 30 now.

Have you any idea if it's 4000 true Watts or not lots of Chinese light going around saying the spec and wattage are a lot higher than what the light actually gives out some are just pure scams

I’d assume it’s probably around 400w, but I’ve used HPS in the past and I can tell you this thing puts off some light. My buddy put me on to this light he’s had some nice yields with it. he told me to move the light up and turn the power to about 65. Sadly a lux meter just isn’t in the budget, which would help the issue

That yellowing on the tips is from nutes, no problem, it’s just the plants way of saying, “thank you, I’ve had enough nutes”.

Sounds good! Yeah I figured the veg nutrients I did then topped the soil got a little too hot haha. Thanks for the info.

16-20 inches would be about right on the money for a 400w if that's what it is plants are looking very healthy tho which is a good sign as phyto said maybe a little to heavy on the nutes maybe try 3/4 strength nutes on the next feed see how that goes, I'm 2 weeks into flower on mine 10x critical mass photoperiods in 25ltr auto pot system with a 100ltr tank, 2 lights 720 true Watts amazing lights have a look at the growth

This was 5 days ago almost another 2 foot of growth from the flipping stretch

Ring camera picture within the grow room I enter twice a week to refill tank and check pH the basics all that stuff temp, humidity and co2 is all on controller that I can alter from my phone it basically does all the work for me haha

I've too manly close neighbours wish I could do outdoors again but since I moved house it's no longer an option for me so had too improvise on it all

That’s what I want next time around. Just first time of hps lights so wasn’t sure if I wanted to fully invest in led yet. But I’m a true believer now lol.

My other room is still on hps 600 w digital , metal halide 400w bulbs for veg and 600w dual spectrum last run using that same strain pulled 20.5oz dried off 4 plants I was delighted with that result from hps above 5oz dried per plant roughly

Were you able to tell its flowering by those little white strands on the stem? I'm entering week 5 and think I'm entering flowering too if that's the case.

Yup usually shows sex earlier when the pistols come out of the nodes at each branching. But when you see the bud form on top with a bunch of pistols that’s when you are starting to flower.
