Auto question

Seventeen days is a touch early for autos but still in normal range...Autos with better genetics (more sativa) allow the plant to grow a little larger before its starts producing pistils...

Experienced Auto growers realize they have a limited time to create the plants structure that will be used as the foundation to grow buds in the flowering stage...Hence, they have their foot in the proverbial gas peddle from the start...20-24 hours if light from start to finish..see goes in the same pot the plant is going to finish in...limit stressing of plant..

Those who have decent auto genetics have more flexibility to tinker without fear of stressing their plants...

Cheers

This a pretty old auto. The strain was around and popular back in 2011 when I grew my first autos. I suggest trying something newer from a more established auto breeder.
Try an auto from one of the following breeders.
Mephisto genetics
Dinafem
Fastbuds
Royal Queen Seeds
Dutch Passion
Sweet Seeds

Try 1 or 2 from breeders in this list and I think you will be pretty happy with your results. :peace:

Accidentally cut the tip of the main cola XD it's ok, topping is a proven method for autos now a days and not just an experiment. No shame man, just post the pics of the outcome.
Yeah I planted 6 autos for practice cuz my biggest was about 11 inches. These cosmic bomb autos are some vigorous busty bitches. I fimmed 1 at top, I fimmed one at everyspot I could, and when trying to lst the other, that bitch snapped like a crispy stalk of asparagus. I put the top in a humid dome, cuz I might as well test everything I can. I'll definitely post outcome

I love to top my autos. Can't go wrong unless you have a stunted or sick plant to begin with.

Try pony tailed...wrap a sting or twist tie around the top to gently bring the top fan leaves together..This will get more light on the plant and lower branches without stressing it ..
