Hey all.. So I germed my auto seeds trans siberian autoflower.. I bought from the company Auto Seeds because I have heard good things about them. I have done 4 grows in my life.. all 4 made it to harvest.. 3 were auto flowers and 1 was a photo strain.
I went with auto seeds because I love autoflowers and its all they make .. kinda like memphisto genetics etc.
Anyways I'm having a little problem I do believe. seed never really germ'd right and I put it in soil when it only cracked and no taproot.. well it worked because I now have a seedling.
The problem Im seeing is one of my cotyledons hasnt fully developed.. Ill post pics so you can see..
The seed shell was stuck on the smaller cotyledon you see and I gently picked it off this morning.
Does this seedling look ok for 24 hours in the dirt? I was kinda afraid maybe the soil I used was too hot although i dont think it should be.
heres my soil mix..
Its a cheap lowes brand of organic potting mix.. the brand is called "Harvest" its their Harvest organic potting soil.. NPK ratios are all like .4 , .2 , .6 etc .. very very low. to 5 gallons of this organic potting soil I added 40% perlite, 2 handfuls of black kow cow manure compost , 2 tsp. bone meal and 3 tbs dolomite lime.
I have been wanting to grow this trans siberian for over a year now and finally got the seed and now im afraid something is going wrong. I'm not gonna give it anymore water for a few days..
Could starting out a seedling in a 5 gallon container cause this slow growth? I started my seedling in container ill finish in cause I've always heard with autos start in what you finish in.
any help would be appreciated so so much. thank ya'll and heres some pics. This is 24 hours since it came popped through the soil. Zoom into the pics and you can see the right hand cotyledon is smaller, this is the cotyledon the seed shell was covering.
