Auto watering

When pump is off water comes out of hydro halo. My water line is above the halos to avoid syphon.

water line rises out of rez onto ground to tent then up to plants. The plants are at different heights. Any help?

Water enters the tent at about 3” high then rises 17” to top plant amd 12” to bottom plant. Im guessing that rise is my issue?

i put an anti siphon valve on the line. Now water doesnt make it to the plants, i read that it shouodnt reduce water pressure that much?

also there is a slight dripping of water from the valve....

any ideas?

I had to lower my Rez to below my drip emitters to stop the symphony effect in mine

To stop siphoning all you need is a small hole in the line that goes to the pump, this small hole needs to be in the reservoir so that water stays in the reservoir.

For example, an ebb and grow controller has a 1/2 inch elbow fitting with a very small (like 1/16") hole. When you install it the hole is pointing down into the reservoir. When the pump runs you lose a tiny amount of your flow out of that hole but it's that air hole that prevents siphoning after the pump shuts off.
