Autoflower - How to start (your opinion)

I was wondering what would yield the best results for autoflowers. I plan on starting some iranian autoflowers indoors in cups under CFLs but I'm thinking maybe it would be best to set the cups outdoors under sunlight until i'm read to transplant into the ground. What would be the best method? (I read about the previous method causing a switch to flowering as soon as they go outside into the ground)
