Hi this plant had a calmag mistreatment she was fed with 5ml/l of calmag. She was flushed on the next watering

It's a dinafem cheese XXL auto, day 60~

Her feeding schedule :

Currently 1ml/L biogrow, 3ml/L biobloom

Under a 600w HPS at 50cm/20inches height distance.
Soil : biobizz all mix
pH 6.5
3gal fabric pot

What would you recommend?

However, a potassium toxicity can give the look of a calcium deficiency as well. Not too familiar with your nutrients though. Hopefully someone who currently or has used it can chime in with more answers.

bad watering practices can create a world of problems as well....

First of all, thank's for your reply !

pH is fine, as is watering, those plants are not mine but belong to my father who is a professional gardener since the 90'.

The plant had a very small calcium deficiency but we gave her calmag at the correct rate (we followed the biobizz chart) until the overdose.

Are you suggesting that we should resume the calmag in the futur watering ?

I would wait a little longer for someone who is more familiar with the nutrients and soil you are using...but if you followed the correct amount, I don't see it being a toxicity and more of a deficiency. I normally have to use cal-mag once a week in my grows.

When you say you followed the chart. Did you follow it at 100% of reccomended values?

It is always suggested to begin at 25% of the reccomended values and slowly increase from there for weed.

That's complete non sense, and for the biobizz line you always start small and build up especially from all mix soil. So yeah if you follow their chart you will start at 1ml/L and up it from week to week

Are you using tap water? If you are and used Calmag at recommended levels you might have locked out magnesium.

Wow, I must have missed this one. So a very helpful member gave you some advice to do what many do and you call it complete nonsense? A small piece of advice beyond what I said about your plant would be to try to be a bit more polite. If you don't like someone's advice just don't follow it. When you tell someone their opinion is complete nonsense you likely will find less people who are interested in helping you. Just a though, after all, it was you who asked for people's opinions.

I have been polite with every member, but when someone come and tell something that is non sense, as i said : not my first grow especially with the biobizz line, that doesn't mean i'm an expert but OFC i know that i won't put full nute.

I put a lot of information and people like this guy come and just give a random piece of advice like it was my first grow or something. Reading his message again I think he didn't understand that the calmag overdose at 5ml/L was a one time accident, before that we gave her calmag at the recommend doses per the biobizz chart so 0,5ml/L - 1ml/L.

Furthermore the biobizz chart IS increasing week by week so he never used it to say that if you respect the amount recommended by the company you are in the wrong.

Everything he said on this thread is a pure fantasy about the biobizz line, of course i know that you don't go 100% on the nute and that's why biobizz has this chart, I also measure the EC of my grows to be extra careful.

So when you don't read a thread and just drop a random info that is something rude.

Yes we are using tap water, at the right pH ofc.
The plant was flushed just after the calmag incident one watering (but a real good flush), then only fed her normal feeding schedule, so out of calmag for a week or so, should we resume the calmag intake ?

If you give fertilizer, you also give CalMag - which is also fertilizer. All these fertilizers need to be in the correct ratios, or...

So yes, add more Ca Mg your plant looks like needing some BB Heaven 2 weeks before, as well.

Dont go too acidic - it can stiffle mineral uptake in soil.

Is it safe to resume cal mag on this plant since she had an accident when she was given 5x the dosage of calmag at one watering, was the flush enough ?

do you ph your water after you have added the nutrients

i have used all bio bizz from start to finish, never used cal mag because i never had an issue with cal/mag . but i noticed when i added nutes the ph shot down mainly. i only used 50% of the recommended amount,
