Autoflower or Regular for Closet Grows

I have used HID lighting for veg and flowering rooms. I am now in a position where I must use a closet. I was trying to decide if I should go with an autoflowering strain or use SEEMOREBUDS For Less technique (8oz for under $100) and use regular strains. I would like to use regular strains considering I would only have to use 12/12 light schedule instead of 18/6 or 24/0 for autoflowering. Any comments are gratefully appreciated.

I'm growing autoflowers as we speak in my closet but planning to plant some regular and switch my closet light time to 18/6 by the time the autoflowers harvest its time to switch flower the regular feminized plant

Have officially grown out some buddha white dwarf auto's and they are okay...Back to regular seeds for me!!! Vanilla Kush, Pineapple Chunk, Rocklock, and Sharksbreath...They look really good too!!!
