Autoflower under LED

So Ive got my first tent set up and my 3 or 4 week old auto has gone in there. Only the one at the moment, Yes im aware theres shed loads of space left, I got a 1.2M square tent.
Is it okay to pinch heads off of autos? I know you do it to regulars but is it recommended to do it on autos? Ive pinched the tops off but now realised is it safe to do that or have i done a stupid roookie mistake?

Its not recommended usually but some do it for a more even cannopy. My advice is dont, you may be stunting a plant which already has tendency to be finnicky and your time to recover is limited.
