autoflowering strains?

howdoes autoflowering strains work u just keep it in 12/12 from seed or whats the deal

Usually you put them under constant light but it dosent matter what light because they will flower regardless they flower with age not light.also they will mature faster under 12/12 but you will lose on yield.

so do u do like a 18 on 6 off or is it better to do 24/7 on and how long do theyusually take to fully mature

For an auto flowering strain from first hand experience i have seen it does best under 18 on 6 off but on some other auto strains it will do better with 20 on 4 off. They normally take 2.5 months to completely finish and ready to harvest.
