Autoflowers, yes or no?

I'm not strictly here nor there but I do work with autos a lot. There's more to them than just the auto-flowering genetic trait; I've come across many autos that have growth and flowering rates that seem unparalleled by any photo I've worked with. (Obviously this is anecdotal experience). My main interest with autos is breeding them; I've found many of them to grow in ways that are less than satisfactory, but the ones that have excellent vigor and growth structure can certainly be bred into a stable line.

As far as the whole "autos aren't nearly as potent as photos" thing; I must highly disagree nowadays. I've grown popular photos, less-popular photos, land-race sativa photos, and a whole bunch of autos... I can say that only once or twice I have felt that an autoflower's potency was weak in comparison to photoperiod plants in general. I think this may have been the case in the past, but as we know the breeders have been hard at work to bring potency to the autoflowering genre.
