automatics and potency

I need some opinions from people who have grown both photos and autos ... are autos worth it or is there a considerable sacrifice in potency ?

I've been thinking about a perpetual 1 tent grow with 3 cohorts (each cohort could be 1-X plants depending on space), plant X new seeds every 40days and eventually harvest every 40days, but it will only work with automatics.

Hey how are you today? I grow Autoberry in the summer outdoors and I love it, good potency, nice flavor mmmmm. Your plan seems doable I would find a strain right for your purposes (research) I would point out that 20 more days and you could run perpetual of whatever strain you wanted in photo. Keep multiple mothers and cut clones every 2 weeks, to keep up with the demand, but you may have space limitations like I do. Have a good one!

I can tell you right now you can grow auto's better than some of the stuff they sell at the dispensary....

Hey moondance, thanks for the input. I want to avoid the hassle and extra space/tent/equipment for the mother and incubator etc thats why I'm considering autos. I'm just worried about the potency. I ran a nirvana bubblicious auto in my last grow and it just doesn't get me high.. To it's defence however it was grown during the summer with pretty high temps, that might have fucked it up a little....

@Uberknot, I'm in southern europe and I haven't tried US dispensary weed, I wouldn't know. I'm just curious how much ruderalis genetics dilute potency.

I have also tried to steer clear of auto's due to the fact that I have never seen anything potent come from one. Not saying it cannot, just saying I have not seen it.

it's all in how you grow it and the strain you get.....research for good breeders who have been working on autoflowering strains. The more exclusive and years working with auto's the better.
