Autos in the gray pot and photos in the red pot. Concerns: yellowing lime green and I have the advanced nutrients base and root mass formula . Coco

Using Loco coco I will be getting cal mag delivered in the morning just wanted some guidance in regard to what I’m not seeing or catching

Start plants in smaller pots and up pot. Doesn't need CalMag if you are running proper nutrients.

Other than that you've given little information. What are you feeding them? EC/ppm? pH? Lights, height, and intensity?

From what I can see online, this isn’t pure coco and said to act more like a soil mixture grow wise. So you shouldn’t be giving them anything feed wise with your plants being so young and the mixture already full of nutrients and what you’ve fed it too. If it were pure coco then I believe you are to water and 1/4 nutes almost everyday coco wise, you don’t need too with the soil grow. I use Peat Boss which is sort of like your stuff, not a soil but not a soilless grow either but fed like a soil grow.

Pb Maxsisun 2000, Advanced Base nutrients with root mass formula, the light is currently operating at 50% and it’s probably 25-27 inches from them .

So loco coco is not coco and I’ve been pretty much screwed from the start?

Its not pure coco. I just read the description of it from an Amazon question.

Coco coir +
Perlite
Earthworm castings
Fossilized bat guano
Norwegian kelp meal
Oyster shell
Dolomite Lime

If I wanted to grow in soil I'd use those additives. If I wanted to grow in coco I'd definitely not be using that. Hope that helps.

So what do I do switch nutes or stop the additives

This whole "start over" attitude is a joke...you guys all told me to start over every time I had a yellow leaf as well. Glad I never listened, as the plant and medium everyone told me was trash is looking to put out around 200g for an auto...don't can a whole room of plants because a bunch of drama queens blow everything out of proportion...I know someone that has been happily growing in Coco loco with Canna terra nutes for years and has great plants...

I got told to "start over" last time outdoors because I didn't prepare the soil and was told by many online that I may as well can the whole grow three weeks in. Ended up with close to a lb per plant.

Thanks. I told myself the same thing moments later. I came too far to give up. And I’m not doing anything but given them water for the next week and a half and then going with a quarter dosage of the nutes from there. I can’t give up their still young and I know it’s something I can do. But yea.

Yep, I've been told by a bunch of negative nancies a million times here that my plants won't make to to harvest, and everything I do and choose is trash, but my plants speak for themselves. All I can say is that plants don't need to be perfect, they will still yield if kept relatively healthy. There's no point chasing perfection and canning every grow that shows a bad leaf. How are you supposed to learn if you never correct the mistakes you make in real time and monitor the changes?

I have gone through multiple deficiencies, fired my plant by accident not monitoring the runoff enough, topped it four times, chose a $4 medium, had inadequate lighting. The plant still yielded better than 80% of the autos here.

Here's some bud from a previous outdoor plant that everyone told me would never make it to flower let alone harvest. This pic is one of the main colas broken down. Ended up at 43g for one cola. Plant ended up pulling 370g.

People.here just like.to be dramatic. Makes them feel important to be in a position that can make people can a whole growroom over a single mistake.

Coco Loco works but it can also be finicky. I tried it once, not on purpose. Treat it like soil. Don't just add calmag unless you need to. You shouldn't.
There are reasons people don't really use it for cannabis.

Also, water your pots evenly and fully. Roots aren't seeking out dry soil. :bigjoint:

so Water the whole outer ring as well? I did that because I didn’t think the roots had developed far out

Are you serious?? So I have to start this all over like , what’s happening to my plants can’t be reversed at all?
I was only being half serious. It's good to have a plan and know what you are working with before you start.

You put seeds in a medium that you don't even know about. It happens though and hopefully you'll learn for the next run.

The medium is amended so adding nutrients on top of what's there is more than likely just going to cause more issues. You should probably just water until you notice the plants start to show signs of hunger then feed nutrients. Overall it's going to make things very difficult especially for a new grower.

When using coco loco you shouldn't give any nutrients for the first 4 weeks. Coco loco is great stuff
I’m using something very similar but just a different brand. It burned the plant a bit more than I’d like but I’m six weeks into flower and the buds are nice and chunky. I’ll keep using it for sure.

You'll be fine with coco loco, don't worry. The nutrients in it aren't as hot as Ocean Forest, and you can treat it pretty much exactly like Coco after a few weeks. Fertigation works fine with it. I don't see any major issues with your grow, keep working on growing those roots out to the sides of the pots and once that happens, it'll be easy going. Good luck!
