Away at weekends

So if I have a Stealth grow in coir. What would the best way be to make it self sufficient at weekends as im away?


Was thinking of some sort of auto fed reservoir

I've been pondering this too, I want to leave for vacation for 10 days.

Best ideas I've found is for small plants, buy a terracotta watering stake, it screws onto an inverted 2 litter bottle to water with.

Or for larger operations you can set up a simple drip irrigation system using a small water pump in a 5 gallon bucket resivouir connected to rubber hose that leads to your plant. It's a good idea to add a ball valve between the pump and the plant to help regulate the amount of water the plant gets. Then you just set the pump up to a timer to water for X amount of time, and use the valve to adjust the amount of water that comes out in that amount of time. If you have multiple plants you can hook up T's to split the water supply.

I've got a set of autopots now so should do for a decent week or 2
