Liquid calmag is less than 20 bucks a bottle and its a two for one. But unless you overdo the ammendments soil ammending is usually a cheaper rout.

Hey Jersey, soil amending is adding stuff to your soil that is (hopefully) beneficial. I wouldn't say you have to add azomite to FFOF seeing that it should have a decent amount of trace minerals in it with the amendments that are already added to FFOF, but I also wouldn't say it would hurt. Azomite is a rock dust and rock dusts in general are very forgiving and have a wide range of benefits, but you don't need much either. I don't know how much you'd need per bag of FFOF, but 5-50 lbs. is good per 100 sq. ft. in agricultural/garden applications. That's a pretty wide range for application and is why I said it's pretty forgiving.

Dolomite is usually used to buffer ph in soil and to add calcium and magnesium. I'm pretty sure FFOF should have enough calcium and magnesium in it to get you started though. I would personally add a 50/50 mix of ultra fine dolomite and gypsum, but it's probably not necessary.
