Please help. I have four two week old seedlings that are supposed to be White Widow's in a 40 litre tub with about 25 litres of ph 8 tap water, 1/4 strength Dutch Master Original ph'd down to 6. I have no PPM meter at present, and only just got the ph meter three days ago where I discovered the ph at nearly 8! I reduced to 6 over three days. They are outside at the moment waiting for my light. The outside temps have been consistently above 35c, I have just put a shade above them thinking that the heat could be the issue and the resoviour is painted white and wrapped in a rug and the water is always cool. The problem is the upward curling (on all the plants) They are growing but they don't look very happy. I want to put them under 400 mh soon.

You want that water between 10 - 14 degrees below outside temp. It's very hard to do hydro outside for this reason. A small plant should be acclimated, a few hours of sun more every 3 days. It will def. help when moved indoors. :peace:
