Back at it

First I’m going to explain my story. Jump down if you just want to see the progress!
So i started researching growing marijuana probably when I was 14. I researched for probably a good year before I started. I got The whole kit, tent, 600 hid, root organic soil fan the whole newbie setup. Things were going okay. And something happened where I either wasn’t watering too much or not enough and just had a many different problems, had mites, probably wasn’t as dedicated as I should have been but hey I was 15. So that was a failed attempt. My second attempt was DWC. I figured okay I’ll take the watering out of the equation. Which went okay. I had some deficiency as I didn’t have a real ph and no ppm meter and still didn’t being through about everything, I got my first harvest. It wasn’t that good it was smokable but my I guess “standards” were set higher. Let’s jump 7 years later to about 8 month ago. I bought my first house and it came with a 3 car garage with it’s own sub panel with I think 75 or 80 amps? The back 13 feet of the garage was already studded and plywood for 2 storage rooms. I ripped one storage room apart and started building. I have an area of 12.5x5.5x8. I still have the other storage room to expand if I want/need to. Which is about the same size.

I built the room expecting to put 3,000 watt hps eventually but I’m not sure what my plans still. I think I’m going to set an old tent I have up in the room and veg in it. And then flower in the other 8x5 area. I don’t have any pictures really or my room or the building. It’s just drywall. I have an intake for my air cooled hood. I see these aren’t in style anymore but I know it will work for me! It has a starting point which is sucking air from my garage through my light and blowing it straight outside. I also have a small dehumidifier and a pretty large portable ac unit that vents to the outside also.

My setup
I am running 6 coco perlite 70/30 5 gallon pots.i have an xl 6 inch air cooled hood. 30 pint dehumidifier 10k BYU portable ac. Good sized heater. I have blue labs ph and ppm meter.
For watering I have an irrigation system setup. With floraflex. If you haven’t heard of them check them out. Cheap manifolds and they are very even water flow. I have a 55 gallon water tank. I’m also using their nutrient line which is powered it is awesome. I am using tap water with an ec of .1 I’m adding calmag as needed. Will be adding some slf soon here and that will be it!


HERE is the progress. They will be 3 weeks from rooted clone tomorrow. in the beginning pictures they were under a hps bulb as I got sent 3 broken bulbs and ran into a humidity problem and a bad lockout problem about last week but it is all fixed. .As you can see in some of the pictures it was starting to get bad but she fully recovered. I was late on training so I’m really working on that now and trying to get an even canopy. I’m going to use a scrog netting at about 2-2.5 feet and hope to fill up a 5x5 canopy area. I’m sure I’m missing things and forgetting things. Please if you have any advice or questions or how I can improve things please comment. This is my first real grow with “proper” equipment and dedication. I have also never used coco or an irrigation system but have done tons of research.
I think they are looking good now.

As you can see here they are starting to recover from the lock out and starting to look more healthy.

And the last 4 or so days I’ve been really trying to do some lst and get an even spread out Canopy and I think it’s working!

Haven’t updated in a while. Took some clones and waiting for some bloom nutes to come in the mail so I can switch to flower.

5 days later

Day 10 of flower. They are for sure girls lol. The stretch was real think they about done hopefully. 12 more days and I’ll defoliate.
