Just received seeds from Attitude after 8 days. I purchased the Green House Sativa Mix Feminized and recieved Super lemon Haze and a GH Seeds Grinder freebie.

SUPER SILVER HAZE 19.11% THC
ARJAN'S STRAWBERRY HAZE 19.72% THC
ARJAN'S HAZE #1 21.44% THC
NEVILLE'S HAZE 22.5% THC
HAWAIIAN SNOW 23.7% THC

Soaking the beans now and then will place them in worm castings to sprout.

I currently have my first hydro grow going at the same time with Red Ryder Auto Strain. After only a couple weeks I can not begin to understand why any one would want to do hydro. The amount of work involved baby sitting the plant is crazy.

I will continue to do hydro after all I spent $400 in AN Ferts. I will try to understand the feeding of the plants at specfic times rather than just building good dirt and bacteria. For me it is the science that is as rewarding as the smoke.

This time I have no pics I figure you all know how to pop a seed by now so I will post the signs of first life and get the party started!!

welcome back to real herb person !

400$ sheesh .... fuck AN.

building good dirt is the key to a good organic grow, BUT like you said , its all about nutrition. read , read , read.

the science is the best part

Sounds good. I started with hydro and I'm using soil now. I agree I definitely like soil way better.

Three out of six seeds have popped. I may have damaged on and waiting for the other two to see.

I tried a new method for me to clone with. I was given a suggestion from panhead so I used rapid rooters. I have used them for seeds never for clones.
DSCI0197.jpg

I also changed my method of cloning I cut extra length then let soak in AN voodo juice for abouth 15 min along with some seaweed. Ithen proceeded to cut under water then used clonex and place the cutting in the rapid rooter under a dome and heat pad. We shall see how that works.

I am frothing at the mouth to try the Hawaiin Snow!!
Thanks for reading until next week :)

Subbed. I do both organics and hydro, for me hydro is almost boring because it's easy as shit, rez change once a week, and top off between changes. I'm lucky that I don't have to adjust the pH much because the DG I use is very stable with my water...

I also prefer organics though, much more fun and engaging for me. And of course, the end product is always a treat :)

Looking forward to this one, def interesting in seeing how those Arjans turn out...

All but one have popped and it appears that Arjans Haze is one not popping as I mentioned I think I may have damaged it. I eill give it another week and see.

DSCI0210.jpgDSCI0211.jpg

I also have some CHEESE clones from some mothers that have rooted I placed two in dirt and two in hydro so I can compare growth in another growth and taste. Leaving one for a new mother.

Clones are doing well unfortunatley I have lost the Hawian snow it just withered up and died. It was never a very strong seed nor was the Arjans Haze neither have made it. The down side of a variety pack only one seed per strain.

So I am left with
SUPER SILVER HAZE 19.11% THC
ARJAN'S STRAWBERRY HAZE 19.72% THC
NEVILLE'S HAZE 22.5% THC

I really wanted the Hawiian Snow that was the reason for the pack. Attitude says to contact Green House seeds; I guess I will take it in the shorts this time.

Clones are doing well nice green color.

I saw some spider mites so I ordered some lady bugs and they seem to like their new home. Setteling in just fine and getting to work.

I think they are Bi Lady bugs because all they do is jump each other. A whole lot of lady bug sex going on no wonder they have to eat as much as they do.

Did add two other workers to my fertilizer creation program. Some bunnies and they are doing their part pooing their little cotton tails off.

Best little fert makers on the planet. It is safe enough to put on the plants directly with a ton of microbial life and N 2.4 P 1.4 K .60
They are both females and need a male also because they keep humping each other as well.

Just a whole lot of bug on bug and bunny on bunny action going on at my place.

I have a thread on ladybugs, they do some work but I had a problem in flowering so I think that was the problem, as there was huge buds the bugs could hide in. It is cool watching them stalk the mites and then eating them lol... But yeah, my biggest problem with them was keeping them alive, they would either drink up all the water I put, or drown in it. I also ended up with like 30 in my hood... They are fun to have around though, for me all the biological control for mites didn't work, so I just went the chem route after I cleared out my flowering room and after one application I haven't seen a mite in two runs.

Either way, take it easy bro, the babies are looking nice as well :weed:

Cheese clones are doing well for the most part. There are some differences in that two are rather small and tight nodes while one is tall and growing like crazy. Both are in worm castings nothing else except for the occasional worm tea and some liquid seaweed sprayed on them at this point.
DSCI0321.jpgDSCI0318.jpgDSCI0319.jpg
I wonder what the difference is to cause such different growth patterns.

Seedlings are also coming along but again there are sublte differences in the strains

DSCI0312.jpg
Super Silver Haze going crazy
DSCI0313.jpg
Nevilles Haze pretty well
DSCI0314.jpg
Super Lemon Haze growing but not to fast.

DSCI0316.jpgDSCI0317.jpg
Arjans Strawberry Haze is short and dumpy

Different strains just do different things even when everything is equal as far as light, temp, and soil.

Getting ready to place the cheese clones in bigger pots and start LST just gotta let my dirt cook for another week.

your mix is "perfect" for a couple strains , but a lil too hot for others , thats the only reason there growin slightly different, in my opinion.

your using strait castings ? no perlite or nothin ?

to me worm castings is the best product in the grow room , but if used strait , the castings will get very very compact and the roots will starve for air. (air- second most important thing in the grow room)

they look nice.

Super Silver Haze is the biggest one, the second largest is Arjans Haze with some stretch not tight nodes, while the Super Lemon Haze is slightly shorter but with close nodes.
DSCI0346.jpgDSCI0352.jpg

The Strawberry haze is just s short stout little plant.
DSCI0353.jpgDSCI0351.jpgDSCI0354.jpg

No Wyte no vermiculite nor perlite. I depend on the gravel, large organic matter, sand for drainage and areation. I also water wtih RO that is bubbled with an air stone. You can see the soil I just made here https://www.rollitup.org/organics/503027-can-you-dig.html

I transplanted the girls and the largest ones were tough to get out the sand collected and made mud at the bottom; this was the end of a batch of soil. The smaller ones were fine no compaction however this batch soil I used less earthworms castings. The difference in growth may just be the strains when you look at the super silver haze vs the strawberry haze that has to be strain related.

DSCI0350.jpgDSCI0350.jpg
The clones are looking good but even a difference in size with them. It is strange how nature works.

gravel , large organic matter and sand is even better! great job person!

i am out of perlite myself so i guess i'll be usin pea gravel and maybe some big chunks of cut up stalk for aeration.

way to think organic!

Well I was agressive trying to maximize and made it a little hot I see some small tip burn as the roots reach the new dirt.

Curling on one plant and a need for more mag showing some def in leaves.

One plant just praying for mag slight tip burn.

Two others a couple leaves with tip burn.

light burn it shot up so fast

Now that they are use to the dirt I am adding wc tea and they are thriving. You can tell the microbial ife is kicking in full force and breaking down all the goodness in the dirt.

the first pic shows a lockout. either too much food or roots staying too wet. it looks to me like there is not enough drainage / aeration in the mix for her. let her dry out all the way before giving anything else. it might take a week or so. the damage is gonna progress before it gets better. i would not flower her in that condition unless you just want to use her for learning.

the others look good. they are settling in the dirt nice. i see no mg defs. i can see where you would say that though.

hows your aeration ? i will have to reread some shit to see what you fed with an how much....
